The ShineOnCass Foundation was created to honor the spirit, continue the work, and encourage others to live the legacy of Cassidy Charette, whose kindness and compassion for others Shines On.

Our vision is to educate, inspire and empower youth to make their world a better place through kindness and engaging in volunteer charitable activities. Since her tragic passing on October 11, 2014, the central Maine community, and far beyond, has raised over $200,000 to support local charities close to Cassidy’s heart, and has created initiatives that have created a ripple effect of compassion for others that is helping change the world–one act of kindness at a time.
